This page explains what happens to your data when you browse this site and play the games: what stays on your own device, what our server records, and what advertising adds to that.

This site hosts browser games. They run entirely in your browser — there is no account, no login and no sign-up form. We never ask you for your name, email address, postal address or payment details, and there is nowhere on this site to enter them.
The games save your settings and progress in your browser's local storage. Depending on the game that can include your chosen difficulty, display options, high score, the level you reached, and — in games that offer a leaderboard — the nickname you typed in yourself.
This data stays on your device. It is never uploaded to us, it is not shared with anyone, and we cannot read it. It is stored under this website's own name, so no other site can read it either.
You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain. The games will simply start fresh; nothing else breaks.
This storage is strictly necessary to make the games work as you expect them to, so it does not require your consent. It is not used to track you and it is not used for advertising.
Like practically every web server, ours writes a log entry each time a file is requested. Such an entry contains your IP address, the date and time, the page or file you requested, your browser's user agent string, and the page you arrived from.
We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure — diagnosing errors, spotting abuse and understanding load. We do not use them to build a profile of you and we do not combine them with any other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website.
While a game is open, it periodically requests a small file called
version.json from this same server, so it can tell you when a newer
version is available. That request goes nowhere else and carries no data about you
beyond the ordinary log entry described above.
We show advertisements through Google AdSense to cover the cost of running this site. Advertising is the only reason third-party cookies appear here.
To serve, measure and limit the repetition of ads, Google and its partners may set cookies or read similar identifiers in your browser. Depending on the choice you make, these may be used to show you personalised ads based on a profile built from your browsing, or only non-personalised ads based on little more than the page you are on and your rough location.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are shown a consent message before any advertising cookie is set. You can accept, refuse, or open the detailed options and decide per purpose and per vendor. Refusing is as easy as accepting — both are a single click on the first screen, and refusing costs you nothing: the games work exactly the same either way.
Where consent is required, the legal basis is your consent, and you may withdraw it at any moment. Reopen the privacy settings from the link at the bottom of this page, or clear this site's cookies in your browser; you will then be asked again.
There are two places, and the difference between them matters.
On the games overview page an advertisement sits above the list of games, in a fixed space of its own.
Inside a game an advertisement is only ever shown between rounds - when the game is paused, or after it has ended. Never while you are playing. While such an advertisement is on screen the playing field is covered, so a tap meant for the game cannot land on the advertisement and a tap meant for the advertisement cannot restart your game. You dismiss it with the Continue button, or by tapping anywhere outside it, and only then does the game respond to you again.
Both places carry a visible Advertisement label, and both disappear entirely if no advertisement is available.

Our own server and its logs are located in the Netherlands. Google, as an advertising provider, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Google states that it relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for such transfers. Details are in the Google privacy policy linked above.
Under the GDPR you have the following rights. Because we hold almost nothing that identifies you, some of them will have little to act on — but they are yours all the same.
Write to privacy@stroetenga.nl to exercise any of these. We answer within one month. To ask Google about data it holds, contact Google directly — we cannot access it on your behalf.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your request, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is how you tell.
The button below reopens the consent message so you can change or withdraw what you agreed to. It appears once the consent platform has loaded; if it stays hidden, you can reach the same result by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.
